CAMBA's 2024 Ramadan Iftar Dinner
On behalf of the Capital Area Muslim Bar Association ("CAMBA") board, we wish you and your families an upcoming blessed and generous Ramadan!
CAMBA is happy to announce our Annual Iftar Dinner on Thursday, March 14, 2024, at 7 p.m. We hope you will join us as we break our fasts together and enjoy a special evening of good food, fellowship, and community.
This year, CAMBA is focused on ways to give back to the community and help those in need. As such, CAMBA will be donating a portion of its Iftar ticket proceeds to an organization providing humanitarian aid in Palestine. CAMBA is also proud to announce that Bawadi Mediterranean Grill, the event's caterer, will be donating 50% of sales made between 6 and 9:30 p.m. to the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East, which is tasked with distributing food and other aid in Palestine.
In the spirit of service, CAMBA honors an attorney for outstanding leadership and meritorious service each year. Upon registration, we ask that you nominate an individual who embodies these two qualities. We will present the award during the program, which will take place during the Iftar dinner.
We would like to give a special thanks to Sheppard Mullin for hosting this event. The Iftar dinner will be halal.
