FREE POETRY READING: BALTIMORE POET     TARIQ TOURE

Tariq Toure is a vessel of the Muslim community - Omar Suleiman

As-salamu alaykum,

It is with great excitement that we announce a one-of-a-kind free poetry reading for our CAMBA members. On September 17, 2020 from 7-8 pm we have local Poet Tariq Toure joining us for a poetry reading and short Q and A.

Tariq has been widely acclaimed. His topics explore faith, family, fatherhood, and more. You can find a link to his complete and impressive resume here. His most recent release “2 Parts Oxygen” was described as a “emotional tour de force” by Muslim Wellness Foundation director Kameelah Rashad.

During these trying times it is important for us to spend time together. Although the poetry reading is “virtual” it will be a shared experience. Poetry allows us to express love, explore pain, provide inspiration, and much more. This experience will not be recorded. Please do not miss out on this unique opportunity.

We look forward to seeing you all there!
